Cloud Engineer – Software Digital, Car Cloud Platform Development

What you´ll do
You can work in an ever-evolving agile way of working where you will be part of an empowered product team that strives for continuous learning and improvement. You and your team are, among many other things, responsible for the DevOps of the ingress gateways globally to the car cloud platform clusters, serving all connected client cars. Furthermore, the team is often used as a task force team for business-critical application or infrastructure development, and hence have a big variety of responsibilities.

You will collaborate with your Product Owner to ensure the right functionality is being developed and estimate the size and complexity of the work to be able to plan upcoming sprints. You will determine and maintain the technical design in our area within the given architectural guidelines.

Do you fit the profile?
We believe you have at least 5 years of experience with software development and a curious mind to explore challenges in securing a world class connected experience for Clients users. You probably have a BSc degree or higher in computer science or equivalent.

Preferably you have experience with AWS, Java, Kubernetes, Istio, and have passion not only for application development but also for the Infrastructure side of Cloud Development, including configuration. We don´t expect candidates to know all our tech stack by heart, but we expect a willingness to learn and develop, and an ability to do it fast.

You will join a very strong team, and hence we expect you to be a team player and to enjoy solving problems together as a team working in the office. We expect that you will share your knowledge to develop your team members as well as to learn from them.

Previous experience in handling car-related information to the cloud, to cars, to mobile apps and to partners, is highly valued. We also think you have understanding in agile development methodology principles and have worked in product teams. Since the Client is a global organization, we see that you are fluent in the English language.
