Cloud Network Engineer, Göteborg

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Network Engineer Senior to join our Network Operations team

Role Description
As a Cloud Network Engineer within our Network Operations team, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our global hybrid network infrastructure. Our primary focus is on cloud-based environments, particularly within AWS, while also managing several on-premise systems and global partner integrations.
In this role, you’ll work closely with a dynamic team on a wide range of tasks—from incident management and change implementation to developing and deploying new services. Leveraging both traditional networking skills and cloud-native Infrastructure as Code (IaC), you’ll be at the center of our transport connectivity solutions in a fast-paced, global environment where learning and innovation go hand in hand.

Your Profile
• Proven experience as a developer with strong skills in Python and AWS CloudFormation
• Hands-on experience with AWS CDK and other modern IaC frameworks (e.g., Terraform) is a plus
• Deep understanding of LAN/WAN networking concepts, protocols, and routing
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS networking services (e.g., VPC, Transit Gateway, PrivateLink, Direct Connect, Route 53, NACLs, and security groups)
• Familiar with hybrid cloud networking and secure cloud connectivity patterns
• Experienced in troubleshooting complex, distributed systems and multi-cloud or hybrid environments
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to stay calm and focused under pressure
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English
• Comfortable working in a global, cross-functional team
• Passionate about automation, cloud-native architectures, and continuously improving infrastructure through code.
