Reporting analyst  at SEB Kort is an integral part of the Accounting Services team at SEB Kort responsible for monthly closing, consolidation and financial reporting to the SEB group and regulatory reporting of SEB Kort Bank AB. Engaged in a broad number of qualified accounting tasks and expected to take a lead on assigned areas of responsibilities. Working  closely with the other teams within SEB Kort Finance as well as SEB Group Finance.

Essential responsibilities include:

– Drive monthly and quarterly closing and reporting activities
– Perform internal reporting to the SEB Group
– Perform Regulatory reporting to Finansinspektionen and other authorities
– Cooperate closely with SEB Group Finance team
– Ensure reporting compliance with external and internal reporting requirements
– Close involvement in technical accounting questions, interpretation of accounting standards

Requirements:

An academic degree in Accounting or Finance with a minimum of 5 years relevant professional experience in accounting, audit or similar finance role in a large corportation. You have a good awareness of current technical accounting and main reporting requirements under IFRS and Swedish GAP. Interest in learning and working with bank’s regulatory reporting framework and in the banking industry in general. Previous experience in financial industry, bank’s regulatory reporting or larger international group reporting/ consolidation is a major advantage and will help to thrive in this position.

Expected qualifications include:

– Strong accounting competences, good understanding of main accounting principles and processes
– Competence to ‘read’ and understand financial statements
– Prior experience in bank’s regulatory reporting is desired, but not mandatory
– Excellent excel skills, expertise in excel formulas and functions commonly used in accounting
– Structured and analytical working approach
– Ability to prioritize and make quick decisions under pressure
– Strong communication skills and ability to cooperate effectively
– Fluent Swedish and English, both written and speaking
– Real go-getter with a can-do attitude
