Senior Test Specialist, Software Developer, nivå 4

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Test Strategist to join our team. The Test Strategist will be responsible for developing and implementing test strategies that ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to lead and coordinate test activities across multiple projects.

Responsibilities
Strategy Development:
• Develop and document test strategies and test plans based on project requirements and goals.
• Define test levels (unit tests, integration tests, system tests, acceptance tests) and test types (functionality, performance, security, etc.).

Risk Management:
• Identify and analyze risks that may impact testing and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
• Prioritize test activities based on risk and business significance.

Test Environment and Tools:
• Define and maintain test environments and tools required for effective testing.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate test tools into CI/CD pipelines.

Resource Planning and Management:
• Plan and allocate test resources, including personnel, time, and budget.
• Coordinate test activities with other project phases and teams.

Quality Improvement:
• Contribute to the improvement of test processes and methods to increase testing efficiency and quality.
• Train and support team members in testing techniques and tools.

Reporting and Communication:
• Create and maintain test reports and communicate test status and results to relevant stakeholders.
• Participate in meetings and workshops to discuss test strategies and plan next steps.

Qualifications
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.

Experience:
• Proven experience in developing and implementing test strategies for complex projects.
• Experience with various testing methods and tools.

Technical Skills:
• Knowledge of testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or other relevant tools.
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git or other relevant tools.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.

Personal Attributes:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and high quality awareness.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Certifications (optional):
• Certifications in testing, such as ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board), can be an advantage.
• Certifications in project management, such as PMP (Project Management Professional), can also be beneficial.
