System test QA/QE Leader – Embedded Systems (1285)

• Lead the QA/QE team validating end-to-end functionality of complex embedded systems.
• Define and execute test strategy, plans, and coverage metrics.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, and firmware teams to ensure integration and interface coverage.
• Design and run system tests including stress, performance, fault injection, and long-duration testing.
• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks for embedded platforms.
• Drive root cause analysis of system-level defects and coordinate resolutions.
• Establish QA processes, best practices, and tools to improve quality and efficiency.
• Mentor the test engineering team and report progress, defect metrics, and release readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Extensive experience in QA/QE for embedded systems, including time in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of embedded platforms, RTOS, and hardware/software integration.
• Proficiency in C, C++, or Python.
• Experience with test automation (e.g., Robot Framework, pytest, Jenkins).
• Skilled with debugging tools (e.g., JTAG, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).
• Knowledge of networking and protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet).
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership abilities.

Qualifications – Preferred

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps for embedded systems.
• Familiarity with safety-critical or high-reliability systems (e.g., ISO 26262, DO-178C).
• Knowledge of security testing and compliance validation.
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
